The Flight of Dedication

Group of travelers standing at airport waiting for their flight holding luggage and passports

Airline employees, travel-worn and tired, Years of sweat and sacrifice, all inspired. To see the world with passes earned with pride, Only to be bumped by those with lesser ties.

With Special passes, they jump ahead in line, Leaving hardworking folks like us behind. It’s not fair, the thought alone, absurd, To be trumped by those with lesser years.

We’ve served our airline, our entire careers, Through thick and thin, with no one to hear our tears. We’ve flown the friendly skies, with passion and grace, And now our dreams are put on hold in this place.

It’s not just a perk, a free ride for the taking, It’s a symbol of the years we’ve dedicated, shaken. A promise of the future, with memories in tow, And a reminder of the sacrifices we’ll always know.

So here’s to airline employees, travel-weary but strong, With years of experience, we’ve earned the right to roam. We’ll fly the skies, with pride, for all to see, And know that we’ve earned our place, eternally.
