The Great Toronto Airport Car Heist: A Tale of Ramp Agents, Managers, and Mischief

Once upon a time, at Toronto airport, there was a group of ramp agents in Zone 5 who were known to be troublemakers. They were always causing chaos and making life difficult for the managers.

One day, these ramp agents decided to play a prank on one of the managers, Paul. They snuck into the airport lot and took his mobile vehicle, hiding it from him. They thought it would be hilarious to see Paul’s reaction when he couldn’t find his car.

But things took a turn when Paul realized his car had been missing for over a week. He had to pay to get it out of police impound and was furious. He was cursing and blaming another manager, Jimmy, for taking the only key home.

The next day, Paul came into the office, still fuming about his missing car. That’s when the prankster ramp agents decided to reveal their prank. One of them, we’ll call him “the storyteller,” handed Paul a set of 17 keys and said “Take one on me.” Paul looked confused and said the ignition has been changed. But “the storyteller” replied “I think you’ll find they work fine.”

Paul took one of the keys and tried it on his car, and to his surprise, it worked! He realized it was a lost cause and he couldn’t be mad anymore. To make the story even funnier, the car was running out of gas when it was returned and the prankster ramp agents gave Jimmy the manager a gas bill from Consolidated! It was a priceless moment that everyone still talks about to this day.
