O Zone, East Beach and Jurassic Park

Once upon a time, there were three areas in Toronto Airport where ramp agents worked. These areas were known as “O Zone,” “East Beach,” and “Jurassic Park.” Each of these areas had a unique role and only senior employees with over 25 years of service were employed there.

The “O Zone” and “Jurassic Park” were where domestic flights operated and only propeller aircraft were handled in these areas. These areas were managed by senior ramp agents with extensive experience in managing and coordinating the movement of propeller aircrafts. The senior ramp agents in these areas were known for their knowledge and expertise in handling this type of aircrafts, and were able to ensure that flights were operated safely and efficiently.

The “East Beach” area was where the operations of transborder flights to the USA and back were handled. This area was run by experienced and senior ramp agents who had over 25 years of service at the airport. They were well-versed in the regulations and procedures for handling international flights, and were able to ensure that all flights were operated smoothly and without any issues.

Overall, these three areas, O Zone, East Beach and Jurassic Park, each had their unique characteristics and specialized role and the senior ramp agents who worked there were proud of their respective areas and the contribution they made to the smooth operation of the airport.
