A Santa Story:

It was Christmas Eve, and Michael the baggage handler was working the night shift at Toronto Pearson International Airport. As he loaded luggage onto AC planes, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement in the air. Children all over the world were waiting anxiously for Santa Claus to deliver their presents, and Michael knew that his job was an important part of making that happen. As he worked, he noticed a commotion at the end of the terminal. A group of mischievous elves had somehow snuck into the airport and were causing chaos. They were running around, knocking over luggage carts and causing general mayhem.Michael knew he had to do something. He couldn’t let these naughty elves ruin Christmas for all the good boys and girls. So he ran over and tried to grab one of them, but they were too quick and slippery.Just then, Michael heard a faint cry for help. It was Santa Claus himself, who had been tied up by the elves and was being dragged away. Michael knew he had to act fast. He chased after the elves and tackled one of them to the ground. The rest of them scattered, leaving Santa behind.Michael untied Santa and helped him to his feet. “Thank you, young man,” Santa said, patting Michael on the back. “You’ve saved Christmas for all the children of the world.”Michael blushed with pride. “It was nothing, Santa,” he said. “I’m just glad I could help.”From that day on, Michael was known as the hero of the airport. And every Christmas, Santa made sure to stop by and thank him personally for his bravery and kindness.
