To all my former co-workers I dedicate this poem

Mike, a man of great renown Retired from Air Canada, baggage lead down Two years have passed, and he still thinks back To the friends he made, a tight-knit pack The luggage they handled, big and small The jokes they shared, the stories they’d recall The early mornings, the late nights The camaraderie, a truly great sight But now, Mike sits at home, all alone Missing his co-workers, his heart full of stone He remembers the fun, the laughter, the cheer Wishing he could go back, even for just a year But alas, time moves on, and Mike must too Though he’ll always remember, his old crew The memories he made, the bonds he formed Will stay with him forever, through good times and storms So here’s to you, Mike, a man of great cheer We raise a glass, and hold you dear For all the hard work, and all the fun You’ll always be remembered, by everyone
