Once upon a time, there was a ramp agent named Harry. Harry was a hard-working and dedicated employee, but he had a bit of a potty mouth when it came to his manager.
One day, as Harry was taking a break and sitting in his chair, he let out a string of complaints about his manager, not realizing that his radio mic was still on. As he got up from his chair, he received a call on his radio from none other than the manager he had just spoken ill of, requesting that he call her immediately.
Panicking, Harry rushed to the manager’s office, expecting the worst. But to his surprise, the manager was in a jovial mood and said “Harry, I just wanted to thank you for the compliment, I am glad you think so highly of me.”
Feeling embarrassed, Harry stammered, “I-I-I’m sorry, I didn’t realize my mic was still on.” The manager laughed and said, “Don’t worry about it Harry, we all have those days when we need to vent.”
From then on, Harry made sure to always check his mic before speaking, and he and his manager had a great working relationship. The end.
