SoupBone was a beloved employee at the airport, known for his quirky sense of humor and quick wit. One cold winter day, a colleague was complaining about the bitter weather outside. SoupBone, not one to let a little cold weather get him down, decided to show his colleague a trick he had learned for keeping warm.
He asked for an Air Shmengy bag destined for BGI and, with a mischievous glint in his eye, climbed into a large size dog kennel. Without missing a beat, he had the kennel loaded onto the straight odd-size belt and shouted, “start her up!”
Many of the junior employees at the airport were stunned as SoupBone rode down the belt, seemingly disappearing into the depths of the airport. For the rest of the shift, no one saw hide nor hair of him.
A few days later, SoupBone returned to his usual spot at the International check-in counter, looking none the worse for wear. When his colleagues asked where he had been, he nonchalantly replied that the weather had been great and he had taken a dip in the ocean. He even dared the ladies to come closer and see the tan lines on his skin, but they shrieked and ran away in horror.
SoupBone’s antics were the stuff of legend at the airport, and he was beloved by all who knew him for his sense of fun and adventure.
