The Merger or Takeover?

Air Canada and Canadian Airlines, Two major rivals, one merger surprise. The transition was rough, For check in agents and ramp stuff. Unions and locals, all a mess, Merging seniority lists, a great stress.

Animus within the groups, Left a bad taste in their mouths. The company split the two, Ex Canadian and Air Canada, what to do? It was Us against them, that’s how it seemed, They didn’t even speak, or so it seemed.

Better dead than Red, Canadian Airlines employees said. But eventually the management knew, Working side by side was best for all, that’s true. As the years went by, the bad blood died, And friendships were formed, side by side.

Now it’s as if the merger never happened, All living happily ever after, that’s what’s happened.
